is now probably more important than ever
that young people see that the Irish language
is alive and thriving in the multi-cultural
world all around us. The enjoyable environment
and activities of a Comhaltas branch provide
ideal opportunities to learn and practice
An Ghaeilge, alongside your music, in the
company of friends and family.

Chualann actively supports the use of Irish
in all our branch activities. We hold a Comhrá Gaeilge class from 7pm to 8pm on Fridays and Irish is commonly spoken by many people attending socially or playing music at our sessions on Friday nights in the Cultúrlann. Our branch outings at Easter each year frequently travel to the Gaeltacht islands.
