Classes are open to members and are graded for learners and improvers of all ages. Our teachers have many accolades, titles, recordings and other achievements to their names and each year, they ensure not only that the tradition that we love is passed on but that it goes from strength to strength. All officers of the club and the teachers have been subject to vetting by An Garda Síochána.

Tunes for the classes are drawn from Foinn Seisiúin, books which contain the tunes in both “A, B, C” and staff notation. The books, together with accompanying CD, are available for purchase.

Another practical support for families is our instrument loan rental scheme which allows parents to postpone buying an instrument for a trial period until satisfied that their child has taken to it. Instruments are limited, however, so members are advised to contact a member of the committee when enrolling.
