On Saturday, five members of the Club performed a 40 minute set on one of the main stages at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann, as “Cúigear”. The stage was in the Waterside, Derry. They were joined on stage to conlude their set by the Burntollet Sons of Ulster – a marching band from the ‘Loyalist’ community. It was the first time that a marching band of this type had participated in any such festival and they were welcomed to the stage with generous words by Seanadóir Labhras Murchú. Maith sibh go léir!
Team Chualann part of historic first!
